Wimpey No-Fines

Many mortgage lenders will require an investigative structural survey of a "Wimpey No Fines" property.

No-Fines concrete is a non-proprietary material used extensively in Britain for the construction of walls in dwellings around the mid-1940s. The properties get their name from George Wimpey & Co Ltd who developed a system of housing utilising this material and traditional building methods.

External walls consist of cast-in-situ concrete and there are numerous basic types of Wimpey No-Fines (WNF) buildings such as bungalows, houses and low-rise blocks of flats.
